Awards Guidelines

When selecting delegates for commendation, Staffers will base their decisions on the following criteria:

Position Papers

    • Delegate submitted a position paper -- they are mandatory for awards!

    • The position paper was sufficiently researched and demonstrated a good grasp on the topic.


    • Delegate actively participated and listened well to other delegates.

    • Delegate was respectful of other people and staff in the committee.


    • Delegate's speeches were well delivered and well informed.


    • Delegate was engaged in writing directives and collaborating with others.

    • Delegate showed both leadership and collaboration skills.

Crisis activity

    • Delegate was actively engaged with crisis.
